Kari Smith, LEED AP, is the Director and a Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette School of Architecture and Design. Her education culminated in a Master of Architecture from Rice University. As an educator and designer, Smith maintains a critical engagement to architecture that improves social-ecological conditions, especially relating to water issues, through systemic resilience thinking and trans-disciplinary collaborations.
