M.Arch Student Wins Spot in Kirksey's Summer Internship Program
Tue, 03/13/2018 - 8:11pmMaster of Architecture student Francisco Farrera was recently awarded a position in Kirksey's Summer Intern Program in Houston, Texas. Kirksey is an award-winning, multi-specialized practice with more than 150 employees headquartered on their own corporate campus in Houston. Kirksey was named the No.10 Top Architecture Firm in the Nation by ARCHITECT Magazine in November 2017.
This competitive program was created to identify students prior to the last year of their professional degree in architecture or interior design. The program will provide practical experience in a professional architectural environment that will enable students to explore their areas of interest in the field of architecture. Beyond the daily work experience, Farrera will be get to be involved in weekly seminars on diverse subjects within the business of architecture and weekly site visits to projects of varying types in different stages of completion. The program is intended to identify students who may be interested in developing their careers in Houston after graduation.
