School of Architecture and Design Lecture Series

The School of Architecture and Design is happy to announce our tentative schedule for this year's lecture series on the theme of "COMFORT". The lecture series will feature a variety of lectures and demonstrations throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, giving students and the general public the opportunity to hear from professionals in the design fields on an array of topics.

The lecture series kicks off on Sept 28th with a panel discussion with some current students who worked in design offices over the summer; architecture students Ian Naquin and Kevin Levy will discuss their time at Holly & Smith Architects, industrial design student Erica Avery will talk about her internship at General Electric, and interior design student Nicole LeBlanc will discuss her internship with J Design.

There are also lectures as part of the student seminar series throughout the semester on learning new software, class work and project critiques, and advice on layout and design of portfolios and resumes.
