UL SOAD Students and Alumni Enjoy Crawfish and Careers

The UL School of Architecture and Design recently held its annual Career Fair, giving students in the design disciplines an opportunity to meet, network, and fellowship with alumni and potential employers. Following the Career Fair, the annual Crawfish Boil was held on the lawn of Fletcher Hall and the BeauSoleil Home. This unique tradition was established many years ago as a means of reuniting alumni and other professionals with our school, faculty, and current students.

There were several design firms in attendance including Alliance Architects, Beta Engineering, Coleman Partners Architects, Domain Architecture, HDR Architecture, Holly Smith Architects, IDI Workspaces, JHP Architecture, KV Workspace, Longo Architecture, Noble Plastics, Ritter Maher Architects, Rozas Ward Architects, SO Studio, Tipton Associates, Trapolin-Peer Architects, Vermilion Architects, and Watts Didier Architects.

We would like to thank to Kim Billeaudeau and UL Career Services, who did an amazing job of managing the Career Fair for the School. We would also like to recognize the hard work and preparation for the Crawfish Boil done by NOMAS, and to the other student organizations for helping on the day of the event. We would also like to thank Prof. McClung's husband, Glenn McClung, and her father, Roland Cerf Sr, for boiling crawfish all morning to make the event a success!
