Asst. Prof. Ashlie Latiolais wins National Teaching Award

The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture has just announced the 2017-2018 National Architectural Education Award Winners. Each year, ACSA honors architectural educators for exemplary work in areas such as building design, community collaborations, scholarship, and service. Award winners inspire and challenge students, contribute to the profession’s knowledge base, and extend their work beyond the borders of academy into practice and the public sector.

This year our own Assistant Professor Ashlie Latiolais (UL Alumna) received one of only two NATIONAL NEW FACULTY TEACHING AWARDS! This award recognizes outstanding teaching abilities exhibited by faculty with a maximum of 10 academic semesters or 15 quarters of full-time teaching experience. We congratulate Ashlie on this incredible achievement in her early teaching career!
