Curriculum

The Master of Architecture degree program focuses on advanced architectural practices and design, including urban theory, research and programming, and the option to complete a thesis or a master's project. See the links below to view the curriculum for a Master of Architecture with a Degree in a Related Field.

Non-Thesis Option

To complete the non-thesis option for your Master of Architecture degree, you must enroll in ARCH 509 Master's Project. This option requires that you complete an architectural design along with a written component.

Thesis Option

To complete a thesis, you must submit a thesis proposal to your graduate coordinator for approval prior to the regular semester before enrolling in ARCH 599 Thesis. The thesis option requires a creative work or architectural design and a written thesis.
