Interior Design Accreditation

The Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) accredits our BID four-year professional degree program in interior design. The program had its first accreditation review in Spring 1991, receiving a three-year accreditation. In all subsequent reviews (Fall 1995; Spring 2011) the program has been awarded the maximum six-year accreditation approval. Our next accreditation visit is scheduled for Fall 2017.

The program is also accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), as is the industrial design program, also in the School of Architecture and Design. The next accreditation review by NASAD will be Spring 2018.
