NOMAS Students to Present Their Design at NOMA Conference

The UL Chapter of The National Organization of Minority Architecture Students held an Interest Meeting for new and continuing members on August 31st @ 6:00 p.m. in Fletcher Hall room 101. In the meeting, the new NOMAS President, Paydrian Arvie and Vice-president, William Molock outlined the chapter's mission, membership requirements and planned activities for the semester. Included in the presentation was information on planned service days with Habitat for Humanity and the upcoming 43rd Annual NOMA Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans, Louisiana. NOMAS members have been working tirelessly all summer on their submission to the Annual NOMA Student Design Competition and have plans to present their scheme at the NOMA Conference October 15th-17th.
